Spottedstar was getting ready for a nap. She stretched her paws, one after the other. The calico leader yawned softly. She sat up, then stood. Spottedstar walked over to the moss. The kind appprintices brought her new moss just a few heartbeats ago. She would go thank them after her nap. Spottedstar scented someone at the edge of the den. "Come in! Tell me what do you want?"

Emeraldheart walked in carrying a mouse, in his mouth. he bent over and dropped it in front of her, he pushed it over to he, he took a small bite out of it, smiling "its really tastie" he said, he waited for the beautiful mate to take a biite, was she afraid of course not. he stood up and satred to walk around, waiting for the she cat to take a bite, he knew she wanted to, he headed out of the leaders den, and into the forest, he came back with another one, smilinng again, he couldn't let it go to waste, if they didn't eat them they would spoil he slid this one over to her to and he took a bite, he wached her and waited for her to take a bite, or a nibble.

Spottedstar looked at Emeraldheart with a grin on her face. "Thank you dear." she bent her head down and took a small bite out of the mouse. She gave a small yawn. "Emeraldheart, I know we have not been mates for long but your going to be a father! I am expecting kits." Spottedstar looked at Emeraldheart to see his face.

Emeraldheart smiled, "really" he jumped up he was so happy, he gobbled up a whole mouse and smiled he went out side and sarted to run around, he was suprised, "but how?" he yelled into the mate, he continued to jumped up and down until he hit the den, he fell to the grown, giggling, and yowling, he was hurt and he was happy at the same time, ran over to his mate and kissed her, he licked he hairy cheek, and layed next to her, "when is it do?" he asked.

Spottedstar laughed when her mate start to jump up and down. Her eyes watched with amuzement. "Well you know HOW it happened, but they are due in a few moons." She couldn't stop the laughter escape from her voice. She gave a snort when he started to run around the clearing. "For StarClan sake! It is not that big of a deal." Spottedstar watched every movement he made, her eyes glaring with excitement.
