Cloudedpelt dashed through the rain to the fresh-kill pile sitting below the Pebble Tree. She shook out her gray pelt and placed a few mice on the pile.
She shivered and sat down, blocking the rain from blowing into the fresh-kill.

Icestar shivered as rain fell from the sky. She was sitting in her den untilshe got up to get something to eat. She hadnt eating since the day before. She padded out of the den. The rain wasnt falling hard but it was ice cold. She padded towards the pile and saw Cloudpelt there. Hello Cloudpelt. she mewed as the rain went down her head.

Cloudedpelt shivered and looked up. "Oh, hello Icestar." she got up from her post. "I suppose you want something to eat. It sure is cold out here."

Hmm yeah...I wonder when this rain s gonna stop. She said as she looked at the pile. It drove almost all the prey back to its den.

Cloudedpelt nodded and looked at the sky that was the same dark gray as her pelt. She heaved herself to her feet. "I will go hunting now. Maybe there will still be some mice out in the forest by the thunderpath; after all, the pines cover the ground well there."
