Nutmeg opened her eyes to see Tansy starring at her. Oh great, she had overslept again. With a sigh she hauled herself up and followed Tansy to Raven and Rock. They were play-fighting. She wasn't much for the fighting thing, they thought they had it perfect here, with Opal and their siblings. But the truth was she wanted more of a purpose in life. She wanted to make herself useful, she just felt lazy and pointless. She sat on the sidelines with Opal as Tansy was about to take on Rock, who had won the play-fight.

(probably ember, but it will be a very long time before that happens>>they have to meet Fernshadow and Foxheart and they'll go home together.)
Opal purred as she watched her kits, and then glanced at Nutmeg. "Why don't you join in?"

Nutmeg shook her head in dismay. "I have never been much for fighting without a strong purpose..." She responded, trying to think of a way to tell her mother about her feelings. She just... she wasn't sure, about much. But she never liked the fighting.

Tansy stod strong and tall as she approached her mother and Nutmeg. Tansy was always the smallest of her siblings, smaller than most other kits as well. "Hey" she said happily. "C'mon Nutmeg, you gottta come see me take on Rock" she continued playfully with a swipe.

"I can see you from here." Nutmeg nodded, staying calm. She looked over to her siblings, Rock and Raven were swiping at each other, playfully hissing and rolling. Even though Nutmeg was slouching she was still taller then Tansy. Nutmeg was the second smallest of her siblings, Raven and Rock towered over Nutmeg and Tansy.

Raven let out a small purr as she leaped on Rock cleanly and softly, pinning Rock to the ground. Raven nipped his nose softly and bounded away, her fluffy tail up high teasingly. She pounced into one of the bushes nearby to hide.

Focusing Tansy tried to find Raven. Catching the bush in her perifiral vision the small kit jumped, rustling the leaves and just barely tackling Raven. Tansy was the ssmallest but she was still just as strong or strongrer than the others. Tansy was always looking to get better, she tried anything to prove she was just as good as the other kits.

"Mrrow!" Raven squeaked, Holding her tail to her side.
"You almost got my tail!" she mewed.
Raven jumped through the bush and lied down as she landed to wait for
Tansy. Not seeing her rise from the bushes made her worry, she had always worried about Nutmeg and Tansy, who were the two smallest kits. But Raven always knew that they were strong.
"Are you Okay, Tansy?"

rock could see raven throught the leave pile so he silently crept up to a spot were she would not see him coming. rock was the most calm kit of the litter he did not like to wast time talking he knew that sense he was the only tom of the litter he would have to train to be strong to protect his sisters and his mother one day. but the only problem was that he diddent like to play fight with his sisters some time's because he was to worried that he would hurt them even thow he knew that they could be just as strong as he.

"Snake?" Raven mewed curiously, "I wanna see!"
The small back kit ran over to the bush she had just been in, to see a leathery brown snake slithering over a couple of rocks. The snake hissed loudly and opened it's mouth to show abnormal fangs.
"Meep." Raven squeaked softly.
The snake lunged forward toward Raven, but she quickly ran away just in time to miss the attack. She panted and breathed heavily, her heart racing.
She silently calmed her self down and ran over to her mother.

no one dose that to my sister errrr rock came out from his hiding place and lunged at the snake that snake saw him coming and sniped his ear ouch rock said as he smelt blood driping from his ear. im not going to let this thing hurt my mom and sisters so this time he jumped from side to side dodging the snakes bits he jumped once more and clamped on to the snakes neck squeezing as hard as he could wating for it to give up and it did soon enoph when it stoped he let go and was scared of what he just did and the fact that his ear was torn up that the tip and a big chunk were gone mom he yelld..........
